FAQ
This is a list of questions I get asked on a regular basis. If there's any questions you have that aren't listed here, feel free to write me an email.

A: Despite its appearances, Skin of the Peach Productions is a one man operation run by me, Aaron Dias. I'm a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a B.S. degree in Film and Video Production. While searching diligently for a job in the field, I'm staying active by making an impact in the independent film community. Feel free to check around this site for more information and don't be afraid to contact me with any questions or job opportunities. (Especially the latter.) And be sure to check back for updates and postings about my productions.

A: Many reasons. This site is only updated by me, and often I don't find myself with enough free time to update about the developments at Skin of the Peach. Additionally, most of the past two years have been spent in the post-production phase of Somewhere In Between. As such, there haven't been a lot of things to report about. Now that the film is preparing for a festival run, hopefully there will be a lot more updates in the near future.

Check back on the main page as often as you like or you can follow Skin of the Peach on Twitter. (Username: @skinofthepeach) If this isn't very forthcoming with updates, you can always feel free to write me at diasaa@gmail.com

Q: Why is Somewhere In Between taking so long to get finished?
A: Due to the low-budget nature of the film, a lot of the shoots were rushed, understaffed, and underequipped. (Indie-filmmaking at its best!) Despite setbacks, I've been incredibly impressed with the quality of the product we shot, however the biggest problem with the shoot was our sound problems. After months of replacing and tweaking sound, we still find ourselves with more work to do (as of the time of this writing). But fear not, the film is almost done.

It will be finished soon. It's mostly completed and watchable right now, but it's not ready to take to festivals just yet. Be sure to check for updates.

A: Most of the money for the film came from my own pockets, and though the film went overbudget, my pockets survived. No more money will be needed to finish the film, however eventually we will need money to get the film out there. Festival fees are rather pricey, and we'd like to submit the film to as many festivals as possible in order to get the film seen. Submitting to so many festivals can total in the thousands when all is said and done. All donations will go toward submission fees. Donations of over 25 dollars will get you a free DVD of the film when the DVD is availible. (Just be sure to send me a personal message with your donation if you want a DVD, and where I need to ship it to.) Donate by clicking on the paypal icon below.

A: Yes. I don't know. It depends on when it gets finished. It may premiere at a film festival, but I will try to have some type of showing before it gets shown at any festivals.

A: It became Somewhere In Between. Life Lessons was a terrible working title for the film and now it has an official title.
